Of course, we’re ALL about serving up the best tasting barbecue west of the Mason-Dixon line…but what would an outdoor event on Memorial Day Weekend in beautiful Boulder City, Nevada be without ice cold beer, frozen lemonade, garlic fries, cotton candy and shaved ice?!
Just be sure you are hungry when you arrive because your taste buds will start tingling the moment you arrive! Whether you are craving a rack of ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, or chicken with all the fixins’ or a funnel cake that is almost as big as the plate itself…you’re sure to get your fill. Sample just a little (if that’s even possible) or for the truly brave of heart with the emptiest of stomachs…try them all!
Are you a food or non-food vendor interested in being a part of the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge on Memorial Day Weekend? We are currently accepting applications for the wide variety of vendors who line the streets of historic Boulder City for this exciting and fun-filled event!
As in years past, we will approve a select a number of our barbecue competitors to prepare their award-winning barbecue for the more than 20,000 guests who attend the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge. However, due to popular demand for even more barbecue options (with shorter lines), we will be approving SEVEN barbecue competitors to provide our guests with their award-winning barbecue (an increase from 4 or 5 competitors in prior years).
Our guests bring their appetites, so if you’ve got non-barbecue food to sell…we’ve got a mighty hungry crowd to feed! We’re also looking for vendors who can help our crowds cool off with everything from icy margaritas and shaved ice cones to ice cream, smoothies and fresh squeezed lemonade.
If you would like to apply to be a part of our event as a non-barbecue food vendor, please complete the appropriate application for the product you would like to sell at our event:
- For Main Meals, such as Barbecue food, Greek food, Italian Food, Mexican Food, etc., the vendor fee is $1,000 with no percentage of sales and you can print an application by clicking here.
- For Snack Foods, such as ice cream, beverages, funnel cakes, jerky, corn on the cob, snow cones, shaved ice, etc., the vendor fee s $750 with no percentage of sales and you can print an application by clicking here.
Vendors will be approved on a first-come, first-served basis, (with exclusivity available in most areas), so please send in your applications as early as possible.
This year, we’re pleased to announce the addition of an entirely new section within the event — booths showcasing unique items so that our guests can enjoy strolling around the event and doing a little shopping! Throughout the day, the crowd will stroll up and down the main thorough-fare, entertain their kids in the Family Fun Zone and enjoy shopping at our non-food vendor booths – from apparel and jewelry to artwork and crafts…so if you are a non-food vendor, we’d love to have you join the fun!
- For Non-Food Vendor Booths, the fee is $200 with no percentage of sales and you can print an application by clicking here.
