Barbecue, Festival Food & Marketplace Vendors
We've Got Guests Ready To Eat and Shop!
Of course, we're ALL about serving up the best tasting barbecue west of the Mason-Dixon line…but what would an outdoor event on Memorial Day Weekend in beautiful Boulder City, Nevada be without ice cold beer, frozen lemonade, ribbon fries, funnel cake, cotton candy and shaved ice?!
Are you a food or non-food vendor interested in being a part of the Best Dam Barbecue Challenge on Memorial Day Weekend?
We are now accepting all Vendor Applications, so please scroll down to the appropriate section for the correct link to your application or access them from the top menu of our website under "Vendors". If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with us by clicking here.
Barbecue Food Vendors
People arrive at our event hungry for great tasting barbecue, which is why we approve up to five Kansas City Barbecue Society sanctioned competition teams to smoke enough meat to serve thousands of our guests.
We will once again have some of the same barbecue vendors who have been with us since the beginning, but we are always looking for new teams who would like to smoke like there is no tomorrow and feed the crowds as they enjoy our event.
With the exception of the Rotary Grill (which serves children's plates with hamburgers or hot dogs), our barbecue vendors have the exclusive on all meat dishes at our event and are the only vendors authorized to serve chicken, ribs, pork and/or brisket. Barbecue vendors may not serve hamburgers, hot dogs or sausage of any kind, but may sell side dishes and water, soda, lemonade and iced tea. Menus must be approved in advance of being submitted to the Nevada Department of Health prior to the event.
The 2014 Barbecue Food vending fee (NOT the Festival Food or Marketplace vending fees) will be a flat fee of $700 with no percentage of sales, however all teams are required to compete in the Challenge and pay the separate entry fee of $325. Barbecue Vending booth sizes are 50-feet wide (and 15-feet deep).

Festival Food Vendors
Funnel Cake, Shaved Ice, Cotton Candy...nothing makes an outdoor summer event in the park like Festival Food!
While are barbecue vendors and the Rotary Grill have the exclusive on all types of meat at our event, we offer exclusive vending opportunities to a handful of festival/snack food vendors. No two vendors will be permitted to sell the same type of snack food, although all vendors may sell water, soda, lemonade and iced tea.
Our Festival Food (NOT the Barbecue Food or Marketplace vending fees) vending fee will be a flat fee of $500 with no percentage of sales and includes a single 20-amp power supply. Based on feedback we received last year about our Festival Food Vendors wishing to be on the "main drag" of Colorado Street, we have relocated our Festival Food Vendors to this higher traffic area to assist them in making more sales from their booth spaces (ranging in widths from 10 to 15 feet wide). All booths are 15-feet deep, a distance strictly enforced by the Boulder City Fire Department.

What's the best thing to do before eating all that delicous food? Walk around and build up an appetite, of course!
Our Marketplace Vending (NOT the Barbecue Food or Festival Food vending fees) fee will be a flat fee of $150 with no percentage of sales. No electricity will be provided, but generators will be permitted in certain areas during event hours only.
Standard Marketplace booth sizes are 10-feet x 10-feet. Stakes may NOT be used, as damage to the public park's irrigation system might occur. Marketplace vendor booths WILL be spot-inspected and vendors in violation of the no-stake policy will be asked to leave the event immedately and no refund will be given.
